For millions of patients worldwide, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams provide essential and life-saving information. But many implanted devices are currently contraindicated for use with MRI, denying patients with these implants the opportunity to have an MRI performed.

Biophan is currently working on the development of MRI safety testing guidelines to identify the appropriate parameters for adequately testing these devices to ensure their safety.
